Improvements in batteries and storage technologies are making renewable power more reliable and widely available.

Cleaner mobility — including electric vehicles, improved public transport, and better bicycle infrastructure — helps reduce traffic pollution and noise. At the same time, circular economy strategies encourage companies to rethink materials from the very beginning: designing products that last longer, can be repaired, shared, or recycled instead of discarded.

Not all innovation is technological. Nature-based solutions such as restoring forests, protecting wetlands, and creating green spaces in cities contribute to cooling the environment, storing carbon, protecting biodiversity, and stabilizing water cycles. When combined with modern technologies, these approaches create powerful tools for climate adaptation and environmental protection.
